Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is preferred
Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in a senior operations role, preferably within shared services or accounting services.
- Proven experience managing large teams (200+ people) and driving operational efficiency and growth.

- Operational Leadership:
o Provide strong leadership to the India operations team, setting clear goals and expectations to achieve service excellence.
o Manage and oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of accounting, tax, and audit services.
o Establish and maintain robust operational processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements. - Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize service delivery and drive the growth of the India operations.
o Collaborate with the Chief Executive in London to align the India operations with the broader strategic objectives of the organization.
o Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and capabilities to meet client needs and support business growth. - Performance Management:
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and effectiveness.
o Implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, service quality, and client satisfaction.
o Regularly review and refine processes to ensure maximum utilization of resources and consistent service delivery. - Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
o Lead the adoption of new technologies, tools, and practices to modernize and innovate the operations.
o Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and leveraging industry insights.
o Develop and execute automation and digital transformation initiatives to optimize workflow and reduce costs. - Team Development and Talent Management:
o Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing operations team with the skills required to meet current and future business needs.
o Identify skill gaps and work with HR to provide training and development opportunities for team members.
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes employee engagement and professional growth. - Client and Stakeholder Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact for the India operations with UK-based clients and stakeholders.
o Ensure client requirements are met and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
o Collaborate with UK stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts. - Financial and Resource Management:
o Manage the financial performance of the India operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
o Optimize the allocation of resources and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality. - Risk Management and Compliance:
o Ensure that all operations comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
